We demand an end to the wrongful removal of children from their families by hospitals and Child Protective Services (CPS). 

It is unacceptable that thousands of families nationwide and worldwide are being wrongfully torn apart due to misdiagnoses of abuse, causing emotional trauma, distress, huge financial losses, wrongful convictions and violating children’s 4th and 14th federal amendments.

My children, Kainoa & JJ, (pictured in this petition) were also misdiagnosed with abuse and wrongfully removed and placed into the foster care system for 5 months. According to the recently published report from the Children’s Bureau, about **91%** of reports of child abuse are false and unsubstantiated.

Families who have had their children wrongfully removed face a long legal battle to prove their innocence. This process can take years and cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees. Meanwhile, the emotional trauma and toll on both parents and children is immeasurable.

We call on hospitals and CPS agencies to take a more cautious approach when diagnosing a child with abuse. They must consider all possible medical explanations before jumping to conclusions, and without a due process that could result in the unnecessary and emotionally traumatic separation of families.
