Where’s the Glory in helping GOLIATH beat David. Our judicial system is riddled with favors and misconduct some things play right out in open court. If you don’t know how or don’t have the resources to challenge it, egregious acts go unchecked. Contributing to the conviction record of the state and a web of paperwork, money and pleas for help for those who are under represented and under serviced. The court system is a massive network of people who have worked together and have built relationships over the years. At times ethics are outnumbered and overshadowed by relationships, conviction rates and MONEY. Stop misconduct/corruption and usher in Ethics. If you see misconduct and you’re in a position to do something and do nothing that contributes to the problem and not the solution. We need audits on timely completion of motions/filings. We also need advocates to audit and oversee the process when ethical issues, misconduct arises or rights are being violated. Prisons are overcrowded with people who have been wrongfully convicted and reduced to numbers. Only to be released after most of their life and reputation have been diminished. This is not a plea to look away from crime it’s a plea for a “checks and balance system”, to insure Justice is working at both ends. Justice is not just about convictions, Justice is the right to a speedy trial, the right to a fair trial, the right to a fair and impartial jury, the right to proceedings free of ethical issues, and the right for your civil and constitutional rights not to be violated during the process. It’s also the right to fair representation free of misconduct.
