PLEASE SAVE WILLIAMS LAKE CITY PARKS.

The City of Williams Lake is considering selling park land to connect the River Valley Trail to Scout Island along the CN Rail corridor.   This is not the whole truth, in fact they can sell our city parks and save the money and we will never see it used towards that plan.  In fact they can save the money and we may never see it used in our lifetime.  The City of Williams Lake has no permission from CN Rail to join these areas. 

Please sign this petition in favor of keeping our 'green spaces' including Patrick Reid Park, Tot Park, Johnson Street Park, Beauchamp Park and Gibbon Street Park. 

We walk through these parks, sled in the parks, green space is healthy, birds and deer use some of these parks.  It's beautiful to have green space, green trees and perhaps we should develop them with playgrounds, benches, walkways and encourage people to use the green spaces. 

We must stop the City of Williams Lake from selling our parks.  If an when CN Rail allows the City of Williams Lake access then we can begin to find funds from other resources.
