With all family members now served, the McQueen Family enters the next phase of defeating the developer’s legal efforts to force the sale of the family’s land at 2028 St. Mark Street.  We continue to thank our supporters who have signed and continued to share our petition with others.  Today we encourage you to read a thoughtful and powerful  piece published online in today’s Charlotte Observer by Lauren Lindstrom & Devna Bose.  A link to the article is provided with this update.  We will post any updates published by the Observer and any other media coverage from other outlets.  Our efforts thankfully are not going unnoticed and we hope that such attention encourages

regulatory scrutiny by state authorities into our individual case and the predatory practices highlighted in such cases.
