For many users like myself, the constant surveillance and detection of root statuses, mods, custom android ROMs, or the usage of Google services on WhatsApp is a relentless inconvenience. Users who have gone the extra mile to personalize their devices or root them for heightened control and better user experience are caught in a net of unreasonableness. A major segment of this user base has Android devices custom-built with ROMs and root access, while others, particularly Huawei users, are running their devices without Google services.

This issue makes it almost impossible for us to use one of the world's most popular communication apps freely. According to Statista, WhatsApp had about two billion active users as of October 2020 worldwide. However, a part of this number is restricted by these prerequisites, which can be particularly cumbersome.

Such restrictions inhibiting access appear to be arbitrary and unfair. Therefore, we urge that WhatsApp takes necessary measures to cease checking for mod, root, custom, and Google services availability. Grant us respect for our choices without hampering our access to your communication platform.
