This action leaves dedicated agents without the income they depend on, after they’ve already invested their time and expertise to support seniors through the enrollment process. No one in these companies is expected to work without pay, and agents shouldn’t be treated differently.

The impact of this decision goes far beyond agents. American seniors are the ones who suffer, as fewer agents will be able to afford to provide the vital guidance that helps seniors make informed choices about their healthcare. HAFA’s mission is to ensure that independent agents are fairly compensated and supported, so they can continue to serve the seniors who rely on them.
