Committee on Health has granted us a rountable to discuss the changes in our school mental health program that would pull full time therapy services from near 900 students. THIS ROUNTABLE IS HUGE! We need written and oral testimony now more than ever! The DC Council has set the round table for Monday June 5th at 11am. We need your help! If you want to write in an email testimony please speak to the following questions: 1.) why you think it's important for high-needs students in DC to have access to consistent clinical therapy services. 2.) why you think it's important for D.C. Government to provide a mental health safety net for our most vulnerable children.
