There is a proposal to move the Wales Air Ambulance service from its base in Caernarfon Airport. This is a vital service that every year save many lives by air lifting serious ill or injured patients to hospital across the north wales and west coast region.

Couple this with same proposed closure of the Welshpool Base too, and moving both to Rhyddlan, Rhyl, would increase response times on a time critical service air based service , and render the land rapid response vehicles all but useless to anywhere other than the locality of the base, leaving thousands of us without access to life saving critical care, putting significant pressure on the already strained land ambulance service and staff,

we live in a beautiful part of the world, but we are rural and inaccessible, so losing this vital services locality will only end one way, with lives being lost,
