Amid COVID-19 pandemic, doctors and other health workers have been working continuously with minimum equipments and facilities to provide utmost service to the patients and general population but their hardwork is returned with physical and verbal violence.

Recently a case in Nepal Medical College arose where 2 doctors were beaten up by the patient's relatives for not being able to save the patient. The doctors were blamed for negligence without any investigation or proof. The CCTV  footage of the incident have been deleted by the administration and the doctors are threatened to keep silent about this incident while the perpetrator has been roaming freely.

Doctors give their 100% to treat a patient but they can't always save them. Before treating them as a god, they should be treated as a human first.

Our demands :

• Expose the deleted CCTV footage 
• An immediate action against the culprit involved in misbehavior and assault of doctors
• Security - Provide a safe environment for doctors to work
• Jail without bail
• A central law with stringent provisions for violators and their strict implementation
