Stop Viacom from blocking Youtube Videos

Note: I am only addressing videos being blocked, not getting videos demonetized.

Everyday, Youtube creators are getting their videos blocked. One popular genre on Youtube called "Youtube Poop" is partially dying out due to Viacom being able to copyright said videos and block them (I don't care if their videos are unmonetized to be honest.). Youtube Poops are as quoted on wikipedia: "A type of video mashup created by editing pre-existing media sources for humorous, annoying, confusing or shocking purposes and often containing mature content." This means that in order to create a spongebob ytp, you need to use a Spongebob clip. Viacom then is able to copyright the person who made the video because they needed to use a clip of spongebob, and block their video. What the creator is doing is not stealing the clip and reusing it, but instead editing the clip to provide a funny and amusing video for thousands to see. As you can see by this example, the finished product is nothing like the original episode. That type of video does not deserve to be blocked from everyone (except canada), as demonetizing is already a reasonable consequence because making money off ads is how youtubers get their source of income.

There are also some other small, secondary spongebob genres that are like ytp's such as portrayed by spongebob, and reaction videos that are also getting blocked. These videos should also deserve to stay up and rather be unable to make money off of ads since they are being edited.

Also, as said under section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research. This means that it is fair use is allowed for criticism such as getting comments that criticize said video (I think I went too far on that one ._. .)

The last thing I will talk about is that this hasn't been a problem for a few weeks. Many Youtubers have not liked getting their videos blocked by Viacom because of using a clip which would be edited into something new. This has gone on for several years and I would like to propose that Youtube can only allow Viacom to demonetize videos so that people can post up videos that are spongebob clips edited in a way to provide entertainment to thousands.
