If you are a Verizon customer with the unlimited data plan, you are aware of how valuable it is. The company has told me more than once that I have been "grandfathered" in to the system and will be able to keep my unlimited data plan. The CFO of Verizon Communications spoke at an investor's meeting recently and spoke of the news to switch over to a new "Data Share" program and completely eliminate the unlimited data for grandfathered customers, stating, "When they migrate off 3G they will have to go on data share.
