We are calling on President Chilton and USNH leadership to halt the RFP process and preserve the vital role of the Child Study and Development Center (CSDC) in our university and our state.
Date: Friday, May 30
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Outside Thompson Hall, Durham
As a community of engaged citizens, we invite all supporters of the CSDC to stand with us. We will gather to hand-deliver the petition and children’s artwork to President Chilton's office — a heartfelt reminder that at the core of the CSDC are the children, families, and educators who make our campus stronger.
We call on USNH to engage in transparent dialogue with CSDC staff, families, faculty, and university partners to find a sustainable, collaborative solution that maintains the CSDC as the indispensable, university-operated center it is today.
Let’s show our support for a center that has nurtured generations — not just through words, but through the creativity and care of its youngest members.
Work with current staff. Preserve what matters. Show up. Speak out. Support the CSDC.
Children welcomed and encouraged to come!
