Animal shelters deal with 6-8 million animals a year and 4 million of them are euthanized. They have came up with a more humane way to euthanize them but in the end it’s never humane. The best way they do it is to give the animal a shot and they will die within 3-5 seconds. States around the world are still using gas chambers. It can take 40 minutes of suffering to fully kill the dogs and cats. Animals will start fighting out of fear. Some animals don’t die the first time and have to go through the process twice. If we don’t do anything, all of these perfectly healthy animals are being tortured to death
