Animal testing has been around since the time of Ancient Greece. Today we still use this form of medical science to test vaccines, medicines, poisons, and even cosmetic items to see if they are safe for humans. Animal testing has been proven to only be 47% effective in testing the reaction of a substance in humans.  Their lives are overlooked, they are seen not as living beings but as a thing, something to be used and abused, and people believe that for the lives of mankind we have the right to do this. Animals don’t have a voice to speak out against this injustice. We have to be their voice, a voice of reason, a voice for the living things who are treated as if they are anything but living. This injustice has been alive since the time of Ancient Greece. 2,800 years of animal torture. 2,800 years without a voice. 2,800 years as a thing. It is talked about by many but, it seems even though people are against it new means to end it are not being introduced or developed. This type of inhumane testing happens every day with 1,000s to 10,000s to 100,000s to millions of animals being used as experimental subjects. It’s an epidemic of abuse that continues and increases over time. We are the only ones who can stop it.
