For several months, and in some instances, over a year, the roads in our neighbourhood have been subjected to frequent and unnecessary digging. This process, which seems to lack proper planning and timely execution, has caused significant disruption and inconvenience to residents, businesses, and commuters alike.

The incessant roadworks have resulted in numerous difficulties in our day-to-day lives. Commuters face challenges with daily travel, leading to increased traffic congestion and considerable delays. Such conditions not only waste time but also add to the stress of our daily routines.

Beyond transportation issues, the digging has severely affected air quality in our area. The persistent dust and pollutants stirred up by ongoing construction work compromise our health, leading to respiratory issues and exacerbating conditions for those with existing health problems. This situation is untenable, and residents deserve better.

We have not been informed about the timeline for completion or the reasons behind these seemingly unnecessary projects. This includes establishing a clear, public plan for the roadworks, ensuring that any future projects are absolutely necessary, properly planned, and executed within a reasonable timeframe. We also request regular updates on the progress of ongoing projects to better inform the community.

It's time to prioritize the needs and health of the residents. We urge the municipal government to address this issue urgently and bring an end to this prolonged inconvenience.
