So according to another pet microchip registry, his information was updated on 3/31/2025, under a new owners name.

Good to know he is still alive and even though we may not see him again, he found a new home.

It's been a difficult journey now that he is no longer by my side.  I appreciate all of the support, and hope to see less of this type of issue for all those who are experiencing homelessness.

It was difficult to live outside while waiting for shelter, but when my service animal was with me, I could get thru one more sleepless day n night.  He deserves a trophy for all he had to go through living like a refugee.  

See to it to remember that each family who suffers this kind of loss, takes it to heart and the angel wings of each animal is sometimes the only thing that can carry them through.

Fortunately we were reunited with our cat two years after he had gone missing,  so miracles do happen.  Microchips don't safeguard any animal from what a penal system can or can't get away with.
