We are being forced to pay a 50% "out-of-town" premium on our water and sewer bills, yet we have absolutely zero voting representation on the Town Council that decides the rates.

Many families living just outside the official town borders rely completely on the local municipal water system. There are 4 subdivisions (Warrenton Lakes • Ivy Hill • Windsor Ridge • Foxland Village) that represent 25% of the total accounts. Despite using the exact same infrastructure as in-town residents, our bills are calculated at 1.5 times the standard rate. Local authorities continue to approve successive, major budget rate hikes—and because we live outside the official voting boundary lines, we cannot vote for or against the council members making these decisions. [Proposed rate hike]

-Cap Future Hikes: Freeze arbitrary rate increases on out-of-town lines until formal communication protocols are established with county neighborhoods.
