Stop Unfair Pinterest Account Deactivations

Stop Unfair Pinterest Account Deactivations
Le problème
Pinterest is deleting accounts without cause or response — we demand fairness and accountability!
We are a group of Pinterest users whose accounts were deactivated unjustly and without valid reason. This issue goes beyond the lack of notification — the real problem is that people are getting removed from the platform even when they haven’t violated any rules.
It appears that Pinterest uses automated moderation systems (possibly AI-driven) that are inaccurate and overly aggressive, banning users without reviewing context or actual behavior.
What’s worse — Pinterest provides no meaningful feedback or appeal process.
Hundreds of users have sent messages to support and received no answer. Appeals are ignored. No human seems to be reviewing the cases. Users are left with no chance to restore their accounts or even understand what happened.
This is a serious issue. Users lose access to years of content, saved ideas, personal boards, and connections — for no valid reason.
We are asking Pinterest to:
1. Acknowledge the issue of unjust account removals.
2. Improve their moderation systems to avoid wrongful bans.
3. Provide a real appeal process with human review.
4. Reinstate accounts that were deactivated without clear policy violations.
We want transparency. We want fairness. And we want to be treated with respect as users.
Please sign and share this petition if you believe in digital justice and fair treatment for all.
