I am a huge advocate for dogs, I love them and learning about them is my passion. I fully support buying your dog from an ethical breeder, as I myself would like to have a purebred well bred dobie one day. There are so many mixed breeds in shelters and the shelters are overflowing. I want to try to make a change and get laws put in place for EVERY state so breeders have major restrictions and have to do proper testing, no more blatantly lying to the potential owners. Breeding should be done to BETTER the breed, not go out of your way to make more mutts when there’s so many of those exact dogs in shelters. Some of these poor dogs don’t even make it past 3, can barely walk, are absolutely neurotic because of bad genetics. So let’s make a change, since backyard breeders don’t listen to any factual advice we give.
