As devoted members of the East River Tenants Union, we are more than just a group of concerned citizens, we are a community. Our mission is an essential one: to improve housing conditions, stand up for justifiable rent charges, and to make landlords like Tzadik Management fulfill their responsibilities to provide safe and suitable living conditions. Regrettably, Tzadik Management's conduct in Sioux Falls, SD, has been far from satisfactory.

Upon learning about our cause, the request was made to familiarize ourselves with the South Dakota Codified Laws (SDCL) 11-7-7 and 11-7-108, which deal with county zoning regulations and the legal responsibilities of property owners respectively. Guided by these sources, it became clear that Tzadik Management's questionable practices call for scrutiny and intervention.

We are calling for the city council's and attorney general's Enforcement in ensuring that landlords are held to rigorous standards of responsibility for the conditions they provide. The first step in doing so is to prevent Tzadik Management from continuing their operations in Sioux Falls, SD.
