Hi folks.  The First Selectman has included the Conservation Commission's Reccomendation/Referral to preserve 6 Commerce Road as Open Space on the Board of Selectmen meeting agenda for this Monday, 10/7 at 7:30 at the municipal building. Its really important to attend and to make sure this isn't another one of his stall tactics, or attempts to sow seeds of doubt, and that regardless of what the his or the town attorney's opinions might be, it is the BOS' duty to make their opinions and positions known on the record. Do they want to see 6 Commerce Road developed, or preserved as Open Space?  They should vote on a resolution of support for the Conservation Commission's recco.

This is also on the Legislative Council's meeting agenda for Wed., 10/9 at 7:30 in the Municipal Bldg. They are expected to consider/vote on their own resolution of support.

Please attend these meetings and speak your mind during voter comments.
