The mistreatment of animals contradicts animal rights. These social media videos that are being made for likes and follows is for human satisfaction and is harming our pets. Think about it this way, if people were putting hot sauce in their child's food without them knowing, or putting sparkling water in a baby's drinking cup, the parents would be given a fine or even taken away if it keeps happening. Animals have been here long before we have, so it is really unfair for us to just barge into their life and mistreat them for our entertainment.

These acts should change because every time someone puts hot sauce in the pets' food or sparkling water in the water bowl the pet is going to start not trusting the food and water bowls, or even you. If this starts happening then the dog will stop taking treats from you or won't let you pet them, they will also stop drinking and eating because they don't trust the food and water, the pet will start starving and get really dehydrated and that could lead to bad sickness or even worse death. 

Before these trends get out of control we need to act now so that our animal populations don't decrease. To do this Me and 3 other 5th grade students need to get as many signatures as possible from people that agree with our opinion so we can show social media that a lot of people actually care about this and we should change the guidelines so that people's accounts get banned if they contradict animal rights.
