Raccoons are smart, beautiful animals that tend to be harmless.  With all the development and building taking place in our area, a lot of them are being displaced.  Maybe we should start treating them as part of our communities. Not by feeding them, but allowing them to cohabitate within our communities while drinking from our lakes and eating local plant life.

Please note: We’re all for keeping our neighborhood(s) safe so this request does not pertain to rabid raccoons.  It does, however, pertain to those that might be going through your garbage or being a bit of a nuisance.  We know it’s annoying, but if they’re  not hurting anyone, why don’t we try to cohabitate.
