Over 1,000 Angelenos have signed the petition to demand a public forum with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to hear our complaints about the needless dangers we face on city streets.
If you've signed it, thank you. If not, do it now, then share it — and keep sharing it — with everyone you know, on social media and in real life.
While you're at it, leave a comment or record a short video explaining why you support the petition to help encourage more people to sign.
And take a few minutes to respond to Mayor Bass' Community Safety Survey to tell her that traffic safety is community safety. Streets Are For Everyone has an effective guide on how to make your voice heard to demand an end to traffic violence on the survey.
Then when you come to the question "Please share any other suggestions that are of a high or immediate priority," tell them we need public forum with the Mayor to listen to our concerns about our own safety on the streets of LA, and the safety of those around us.
The Mayor hasn't heard us yet. Let's make sure she does.
