During the holidays, these innocent creatures are bought in abundance, seen as adorable presents for loved ones. Unfortunately, once the excitement of having a duck wears off and the reality of their needs sets in, many ducks are carelessly abandoned. Tractor Supply's choice to sell baby ducks during such a transient time contributes heavily to this growing issue, with their stores becoming the primary source of impulsive buying of these animals.

Ducks require significant care and commitment. They are not mere toys but living beings.
