So, I’m back from another unexpected hiatus. The last few months have taken an emotional toll on me, thanks to my job, recovering from some illnesses and my depression. Travis’ abusive actions have really caused a lot of mental pain to me and to others which is why he should’ve sought help years ago that he refused to get.
Anyway, I’ve been trying to catch up on his activity and I did come across some distasteful tweets that are red flags that he really should be removed from social media. Forever. First, my two cents on why he thinks removing chat from LoL is bad:
From the original tweet that he quoted:
“While most of our focus around behavioral systems in 2021 has been on gameplay-based behaviors like AFKing and inting, we’ve heard from you that verbal abuse has been a rising problem this year, too. We’re working on a number of changes to systemically address this at both the League and Riot level, but one direct change you’ll see soon is that in patch 11.21, we’re disabling /all chat in match made queues.”
Travis’ response:
It’s sad that you think that abuse is the “only fun part of the game”. Toxic people like you, Travis, are the reason why certain features, like chat for example, of games and social media platforms get removed. I might not play LoL, but I would imagine that the mods of the game got overwhelmed by countless abuse reports and that they had to remove chat at some point, just for the sake of overall mental health. People like you are culpable of these changes.
Next, a reupload of one of his older pieces of “art”. Could that be a red flag that he might migrate his more hateful “art” on Twitter? Regardless of that, he still should be removed from social media and to have his “art” deleted. Sure, the ban placed on his original dA account (DoubleTwithaB) may have been a great move but more work still needs to be done. (This is why I picked that “This is not over yet!” meme and that message is meant for you, Travis.)
Now, his stance on gatekeeping:
No it isn’t, especially when it comes to users making harmless fanmade works. As long as they’re not hurting anyone, they’re not forbidden to do whatever they want to fiction. Who are you to dictate what others can and can’t do when it comes to fan-made content?
Travis: “Gatekeeping is good and based”
KokutheHuman: “Damn, outing yourself as someone who knows nothing about social interaction. Bold move tbh”
Travis: “Problem?”
No, Travis. KokutheHuman’s stance on gatekeeping is good and based; not yours. And using that photo of Ernest Khalimov (AKA Gigachad) won’t help you win your argument that is pure cringe. (That and that creepy Trollface gif.) As for the truth about you, Travis, that KokutheHuman just stated, cope and seethe. Also…
Oh, but you are already famous but in a horribly wrong way! This petition against you is the reason why and your actions are responsible for its existence. (And the ban on your original dA account that will be missed like a fart in the wind.)
“My takes may not always be right but they are always based ”
*laughs in common sense* You dropped your clown nose again. But seriously, it’s more like most of your takes are not right and they are far from being based.
Also, a red flag that Travis might make new Twitter account:
“Note to self: make separate Twitter for serious stuff, make this one shitposts and srs stuff”
Shitposts? As an abusing others on Twitter like you did in the past? How about if you close all of your account and never come back? Problem solved.
So with that said, we must continue to get more of Travis’ accounts banned. Again, spread the word and get more people to sign! As for the comments, I will attempt to contact the Change.org staff again to reinstate them. If they say that will not, then that’s that.
