The justice system in the Philippines is completely rotten. It is very mindful to say that "The Justice System is Not Justice'ing"Those who are committing crimes are being treated like kings and queens by the so-called 'protectors of the nation' and 'justice  implementers'. As long as you have money and fame, it will not seem as if you are in prison. They will look at you as if you are a global artist having a world tour. But how about those who don't have the privilege at all? Those innocent people who are being accused of a crime that they didn't do but have no power to appeal and eventually will take all the blame that those in power have pointed to them.

Alice Guo, for example, is a controversial person accused of being a Chinese spy in the Philippines and was also elected as a mayor in a city in Tarlac, Philippines. First of all, the main question is how did she manage to go through the process of election against the strict processing procedure of the Commission on Elections (Comelec). How is it that it is so hard for natural-born Filipinos to run in an election but so easy for those who have connections with government agencies. How is it that she escaped from the Philippines when almost all the eyes of Filipinos are looking at her? Isn't it intriguing and suspicious? 

Then, after being arrested in Singapore, she made the headlines together with the Philippines National Police officers taking a picture with her as if she is a celebrity that you can only see if you are in a VIP seat at her concert. However, the things that the real Filipino PDLs that have been imprisoned can't be compared to a pack of sardines in a can. Sardines have a more spacious space than those of PDLs in prisons. This action and scenarios should no longer be seen in the Philippines.

This is the time for our country to hear our voices and to burn the rotten justice system. We should shout to everyone our concerns and grievances so that those in power will hear us. This is not just for us but also for the future generations of our country. Let's shout to the government the new justice system that we want and that We Deserve!
