A few days ago, my friend saw a YouTube video, that had a link to a discord server that said it was really funny. He joined, and it was full of animal abuse videos. And they were horrible. People were selling these videos of them doing harm to Animals. My friend sent the link to all of us, and said for us to report it. I joined it and reported it, however I forgot to leave after I reported it. Due to this, I was DMed child porn, and videos of these dogs being mutilated. These were homemade videos too. People had nailed dogs paws down to a board, and took a table saw to its head. One video had a puppy being smashed by a sledge hammer, and a kitten in a blender. I was horrified and traumatized. I reported it to discord, almost everyone I know has reported it to discord. The server is still up. I emailed discord and they said they will not do anything because my email wasn't question related. People's mental health are at stake. Me and my friends were affected by this, and I went into a pretty deep spiral of lament, and sadness, and depression. Discord will not and has not done anything. We need to do something about it now to prevent others from going through what I went through. We need discord to realize what impact this has on people, and stop this from happening again.
