Stop these people, and save our children

Stop these people, and save our children
The Issue

On December 26th, 2021 we lost someone very close to an accidental overdose. Karrie Marie was a beautiful, talented, and very much loved girl by all who had known her. This is why we are wanting to make it available to the public to have on hand just in case something like this we're to happen to one of their loved ones. I live in a town that overpopulated with homeless folks, drug addicts, and mentally unstable folks as well. There is so much sadness on the streets of Spokane, Washington. Everywhere you look, there is someone who is suffering still. The next minute they are just gone. If narcan was available to the community, in public places such as restaurants, stores, schools, etc then someone won't have to make a phone call to a parent of a child who just overdosed and died from Fentanyl, a young woman just starting her life as a recovering addict won't lose her life because she wanted to "just try it one more time" and young kiddos won't have to tell their sad stories about losing a parent to drugs. People of all ages are affected by this drug. Having Narcan available will mean so much to our community because it will be saving someone's life. If Narcan is not made available to the public that would mean that more people will die and and there will be no stopping the next victim. The importance of having immediate action taken place now is so that no more parents have to bury their children.
