I hope everyone is getting out there and enjoying the summer! 

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers that made it out to the Easton Farmers’ Market, Heritage Day, and the West Ward Market last week. Thank you for your time, energy, and infinite optimism. 

This week’s meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday July 23rd, 6:30pm. In lieu of the meeting we need you to join the coalition in one or more of the actions below.

Tonight, 7/14/25, the Wilson Area School Board has the potential Wood Ave Warehouse LERTA (Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance) on the agenda. We are unsure if they will be talking about the tax abatement, or voting on it. Please show up and support the local school board in voting it down. The Wilson Area School District Board of Directors meeting will be held at the William P. Tollinger Administration Building, 2040 Washington Blvd., Easton, PA 18042 at 7:00 p.m. July 14 AGENDA HERE https://www.wilsonareasd.org/school-board (see dropdown menu) 

Friday July 18 and Saturday July 19 let your voice be heard. Help us make a video for our website and social media! This is your chance to be included in a short video explaining why saving our community from the proposed warehouse is important to you. Share your thoughts and help us inspire others!

More volunteers are needed for outreach and behind the scenes data organization:

We are starting the small business petition canvassing campaign this Saturday, July 19. We are asking volunteers to go door to door at local businesses, starting in downtown Easton.
We are reorganizing information to create easier access to data and documents for our coalition members, as well as for the use of other opposition campaigns in the region. Lots of other organizations have been reaching out to us for support and direction - so let’s give it to them!
