After years of manufactured controversy and outright lies, Prince Andrew has been stripped of all his titles and positions except that of Prince. 

The lies continue with talking heads in the media, politicians, and even lawyers (people who should know better) refusing to acknowledge the prosaic facts.

These lies were generated solely by the photograph at the top of this page and of Andrew’s reaction to it. This photograph was taken at the London home of Ghislaine Maxwell in March 2001 when Virginia Roberts was a few months shy of her eighteenth birthday.

It was first published in 2011. The reason for the delay is that having married her husband Robert Giuffre in 2002, Virginia Roberts relocated with him to Australia, but 9 years later, the tabloids came calling and she sold this photograph and her story to the Daily Mail for $160,000.

Her first interview was published in The Mail On Sunday, February 27, and included the following quote:

“There is no suggestion that there was any sexual contact between Virginia and Andrew, or that Andrew knew that Epstein paid her to have sex with his friends.”

That’s clear, isn’t it? She did NOT have sex with Andrew. She took the photograph for her mother, so clearly there was nothing sinister about it.

Leaving that aside, she said also that Ghislaine Maxwell took her shopping, buying her a £5,000 bag, and some designer clothes.

 On the last leg of their European jaunt, she said Epstein gave her $15,000, though she didn’t say what for, yet eight years later she would tell 60 Minutes Australia that she’d had sex with Andrew and that $15,000 was her fee.

Let’s be clear about this, a teenager above the age of consent who has sex with a man for money isn’t a victim of sex trafficking or any trafficking, she is a prostitute, albeit a highly paid one whether or not the man with whom she has sex is aware of it. No one put a gun to her head, no one made her fly across the Atlantic with Jeffrey Epstein. She did so of her own volition, her own agency.

Andrew decided to respond to her belated claim, and in what has been called a car crash interview, said he had no recollection of ever meeting her. It could be that this was because “a gentleman never tells” or for some other reason. All he had to do was take a copy of that 2011 interview out of his pocket and read from it. Instead, he made a fool of himself, and when this prostitute sued him, he made an even bigger fool of himself by attempting to dodge the writ.

Andrew was clearly very poorly advised; it was almost as though his handlers sabotaged him.

Virginia Giuffre was represented by extremely expensive American lawyers, one in particular, although he will not be named here. Their fees would have quickly eaten up that $160,000, which begs the question who was paying them and why?

Leaving aside the lies she told about Andrew, this prostitute has told provable lies about many other people, including the academic and legal pundit Alan Dershowitz, but when she sued him, she bit off more than she could chew, and found a pretext to back out.

Also, by her own admission, she recruited underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein and was clearly a trusted lieutenant rather than any kind of victim much less a survivor. When Ghislaine Maxwell stood trial in New York, this prostitute was not called as a witness because her testimony would not have been credible, indeed there is compelling evidence that she should have stood trial with Ghislaine. Could it be that smearing Andrew was part of the deal for her not facing prosecution?

Prince Andrew is  a fool, but a fool is not a criminal; he has been smeared ruthlessly with guilt by association. Is this fair? 

Clearly not, there are many people in the public eye who have committed real crimes yet are still accepted. Mike Tyson for example is both a convicted rapist and a convicted thug, yet he is still used by various media outlets as a sports commentator.

Apart from Andrew, many people continued to associate with Jeffrey Epstein after his conviction, and some took money from him.

This witch-hunt of Prince Andrew should end and his titles should be restored.
