Gippsland Water's main priority is to reduce operating costs. I received an email from Gippsland Water and have shown in the image that the first thing they mention is their operating costs. Gippsland Water is not even sure if a wind farm would help meet renewable energy and carbon emissions targets. I ask the question: if they are not sure of the benefits, are they aware of all the potential drawbacks of a wind farm so close to homes, wildlife reserves, and located within a bush fire prone area?
