I never imagined that my serene sunset view in Snowflake, AZ would be overtaken by a massive cell tower. The proposed site for the White Antelope cell tower is close to my home and the homes of many others. This isn't just about the sight of a cell tower looming over our properties. It's a direct concern for the health and well-being of an environmentally sensitive community that resides here.

The area around east Snowflake is home to a unique community, many of whom are environmentally ill and choose this location specifically for its clean air and serene environment, free from electromagnetic interference. Cell towers are known to emit radiofrequency radiation, which could pose severe health risks to residents who are already vulnerable due to existing environmental sensitivities. Numerous studies have raised concerns about prolonged exposure to radiofrequency emissions, which is why the location of this cell tower is not only unsuitable but dangerous.

We understand the need for improved communication networks, but since the Black Mesa tower was installed not far from White Antelope & Concho Hwy, it has greatly improved cell reception so the proposed tower is NOT needed!

We are urging Navajo County to stand by its decision to deny the tower and deny any settlement offer from SBA Communications.
