Stop the Warehouse being planned for Pennsylvania Ave in Manchester TWP, PA.

Stop the Warehouse being planned for Pennsylvania Ave in Manchester TWP, PA.
The Issue
The proposed 70 bay warehouse to be built along Pennsylvania Ave. which sits immediately next to the historical Prospect Hill Cemetery in Manchester Township, PA greatly threatens the surrounding York City and Manchester Township communities at large.
The impact to the community, public infrastructure, and wildlife ecosystems will be catastrophic. This warehouse threatens to not only completely snarl already heavily burdened traffic routes within a 1 miles radius of the proposed site, but, also offers the potential to negatively, and permanently impact the habitat of endangered species that live and thrive in this area.
The truck traffic that this will generate will cause extensive damage to already damaged City streets, add further pollution to already bad air, and cause major financial strain to neighboring York City and its tax paying residents.
The ecological impact promised by the addition of over a million square feet of impervious surface will have a devastating trickle down effect via increased flooding and added pollution that will impact everyone from big utilities, down to the smallest animals that cohabitate in this vicinity.
The perpetrator of this, Inch and Company, who's co-owner sits on the the Manchester Township Board of Supervisors was able to have this land zoned industrial without adequate opportunity afforded to the public to speak on the change.
He was only successful in doing so because he sits on the Board making the decision, and because the community impacted was not provided adequate notice of the intended zoning change.
We ask that the Manchester Board of Supervisors immediately rescind their decision to zone this land industrial, and thus prevent the building of another warehouse that will cause irreversible damage to surrounding tax paying communities, and an ecosystem that can not sustain any more negative impact.
