It is clear to me that the fundamental error of Soviet experience is that denying God in the affairs of man leads to sacrifices of what must not be sacrificed - human lives.  Modern day Russia reverted back to old Orthodox mentality of "God's slaves".  Struggle with this mentality was at the core of the Great Socialist October Revolution.  In Soviet schools children were literally taught the saying "We are not slaves, slaves are silent.", stating that people were forced to speak up when they believe to be God's slaves.

In the West a common saying is that we are "God's children''.  Perhaps that isn't accurate as well, as the last Abrahamic theological theory states "God is grand''.  The Soviet answer, arrived at after losing countless millions of lives, was that we are children of the Galaxy, and most importantly children of the Earth.

Has the time come for the West to realize that "slavyane" do not see themselves as slaves but as "those who give glory"?  Has the time come for the "Russian World" to realize that westerners are not as bad as they seem?
