Governments of Metro-Vancouver want to punish sprinkler-using constituents, but they have more than enough water for AI Data Centres.
NO WASHING CARS, POOLS, OR SPRINKLERS
We must not lose steam. I am immensely impressed with our latest petition milestone- having hit 10k verified signatures.
I have written to various local politicians, but I urge you to email and call their offices to have your voices heard. When you contact your MPs, MLAs, and/or Mayor, make sure that you provide them with your Postal Code so that they can verify that you are a constituent. Unfortunately, they are unlikely to help our cause for the greater good, and must feel that this will impact their constituency.
If one in ten of you wrote tomorrow, there would be a THOUSAND emails sent. You have the power to make an impact.
Furthermore, complain to the news agencies!
The Vancouver Sun, Global TV, CBC, all need to hear your passion.
