Quick correction from yesterday — I accidentally estimated that PTC brought in about $3.5M. After double‑checking the CFO memo this morning (yes, with coffee), the correct number is about $2.7M for 2024–2025.

And here’s the punchline:

PTC still ends up with a healthy $500K surplus under PP&R.

Some people are still hearing the “cut hours” rumor.

Oh? Maybe that’s a new message from the PP&R Director that none of us have seen in the news yet.

So the “cut hours” rumor is still… well… comedy.

  • Nothing in the CFO’s numbers suggests cuts.
  • Nothing in the budget requires cuts.
  • Nothing in the memo recommends cuts.

So yes — we can keep laughing.

Honestly, the rumor is like someone saying the courts will close because too many people are playing tennis. That’s not a crisis — that’s a Portland success story.

PTC is financially healthy. Players are showing up. The rumor is still a bluff.
