How You Can Help Us Get The Generators Removed!

Hey Everyone!

We've been getting some requests to post other ways people can help get the generators removed besides signing and sharing the petition, and the best thing you can do is to write to the city and air district with your concerns. Here's a template letter you can use if you'd like, and the email addresses for the people to send it to. Thank you for your support!

I am writing to you about the 9 illegal diesel generators that Greensage, LLC has been running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at The Oakland Cannery and The Oakland Tinnery since July of 2020. East Oakland already has some of the worst air pollution in the East Bay, and I would like to know what is going to be done to remedy this hazardous issue. There is no excuse for this in buildings that have access to the city power grid, especially in neighborhoods that already have extremely poor air quality. These generators need to be shut down and removed immediately.
