Dear supporter,

UPDATE: FROM 18 TO 23

Last week 5 more people were charged in connection with the same case, so - unbelievably - the Filton 18 have become the Filton 23. 

All were arrested by counter-terrorism police, held for days in solitary confinement and incommunicado with the outside world, then all were sent to prison on remand. We are now trying to make contact with their families and friends to support them as best we can.

ONE YEAR IN PRISON WITHOUT TRIAL - SAVE THE DATE!

A call to love, solidarity and prayer (for all faiths and none) as family & friends of the Filton 23 come together on the 1st anniversary of our loved ones’ imprisonment. The first ten were remanded to prison on 13 August 2024.

There will be a time of reflection for the Filton 23 and for Gaza - multi-faith prayers - poems - music - speeches.

SUPPORTING THE FILTON 23

We are so grateful for the support you’ve all provided us so far. Since the proscription of Palestine Action, we wanted to reassure you that you can still support our campaign. There’s a few key things you need to know:

1) Don't refer to Palestine Action in connection with the Filton 23

2) Don't praise the action that they are alleged to have taken

Instead, focus on the unjust use of counter terror powers against them as activists, which is severely restricting their rights. 

The worst result is the long time they are facing in prison *before* they come to trial - up to two years for some.

Continue to support the Filton23 and share their story - and join us on the 16th of August in solidarity and love.
