I, like many others, am deeply affected by the unnecessary euthanization of healthy XL bullies. These dogs are not inherently dangerous or a risk to society; rather, it is the way they are raised that determines their behavior. It's heartbreaking to see these innocent creatures being put down due to misconceptions and misguided policies.

XL bullies, like all dogs, have the potential to be loving and loyal companions if given proper care and training. The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) has stated that breed-specific legislation is ineffective at improving public safety and often results in negative outcomes for dogs as well as owners (AVMA, 2014).

It's time we shift our focus from blaming breeds to holding irresponsible owners accountable for their pets' behavior. We need laws that promote responsible pet ownership instead of punishing innocent animals.

We urge lawmakers to stop this unjust ban on XL bullies and end their unwarranted euthanization. Let's work together towards a society where every dog is judged by its character rather than its breed.
