Stop the Unjust Euthanasia of Destiny, the Bully Puppy
Stop the Unjust Euthanasia of Destiny, the Bully Puppy
The Issue
Destiny, a bully puppy with a gentle temperament is facing a unjust euthanasia decision next week by a UK animal welfare charity. Despite her cropped ears being the initial reason for her placement into their care, allegations have now been made about behavioural issues that supposedly make her unsafe to be around. However, it's important to note that Destiny has never attacked anyone.
Before she was taken into care by this charity, Destiny was healthy. Unfortunately, during her time away from her rightful owners - the animal welfare charity have advised she has developed a limb issue. This raises questions about the quality of care provided and whether this may have contributed to any perceived behavioural changes.
In an effort to save our beloved pet's life and prove these allegations wrong, we sought an independent assessment from an animal behaviourist who found no risk in Destiny's behaviour and recommended rehabilitation instead of euthanasia. Sadly, this recommendation has been ignored by the charity.
We believe in giving every animal a fair chance at life and rehabilitation over extreme measures like euthanasia when there is no proven threat or harm caused by them. We urge you to support our plea for justice for Destiny – let’s give this innocent puppy another chance at life with proper care and rehabilitation instead of ending it prematurely based on unfounded allegations.
Please sign our petition and share this urgently urging the UK animal welfare charity to reconsider their decision on Destiny’s case. They will be euthanasia Destiny next week 8 April 2024 please help stop the unjust euthanasia.
