Stop the Unjust Ban on XL Bullies

The Issue

I am a passionate advocate for XL Bullies, innocent dogs that are often misjudged due to irresponsible ownership. These dogs are not naturally aggressive; their behavior is largely influenced by how they're raised and treated. It's heartbreaking to see these innocent lives lost because of other people's actions. It's unjust to punish all for the mistakes of a few.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), breed-specific legislation (BSL) does not improve community safety or prevent dog bites. Instead, it leads to unnecessary euthanization of dogs based solely on their breed rather than their behavior. The ASPCA also affirms that aggression in dogs cannot be attributed solely to specific breeds; factors such as early experience, socialization, training, sex and age play significant roles.

Instead of banning XL Bullies outright, we should focus on promoting responsible pet ownership which includes proper training and socialization from an early age. This will ensure that these beautiful animals can live harmoniously with humans without posing any threat.

It's time we stop blaming the breed and start holding individuals accountable for their actions. Let us unite against this unjust ban and fight for our beloved pets' right to live peacefully among us without fear or prejudice.

Please sign this petition if you believe in justice for all breeds, including XL Bullies.
