Turnitin has proposed altering its End User License Agreement (EULA) to include terms and conditions that could have implications on our rights as authors of academic work. They are planning to use academic assignments submitted through Turnitin to train their AI models.

We urge the University of Chester to immediately discontinue their contract with Turnitin until there are guaranteed protections of student ownership and IP rights as the university has a responsibility to protect our work.
