Dear Neighbors, Are you tired of the Union Pacific Railroad train horn noise all day and night whenever it crosses Walnut Ave, Gomes pedestrian crossing or Warren Ave?  I have spoken with the City of Fremont, Public Works Department and they say we can do something. Some of the options are: establish a Quiet Zone, put up wayside horns or limit horns at night.  To get this process started we need the Fremont City Council allocate $100,000 from next year's biennial 2023 Capital Improvement Program budget.  We are electing council persons this November.  Please sign the petition, get your neighbors to sign and try to get all City Council candidates to sign and commit to approving the funding.   If the money is not approved we will have to wait two more years.  It starts with you. Please help us to get the peace and quiet we all deserve. Thank you.
