We are saddened and frustrated to have to again petition for Alexandra Laverty to stay on as the nurse at Pine Glen Elementary.

We're hearing that, again, head nurse Barbara Conley is unfairly targeting Alex and trying to not have her contract renewed. Barbara Conley should absolutely put the needs of our children ahead of her ego and wants. 

Alex has been nothing but wonderful since she's taken over as the nurse at Pine Glen - she's been so kind to our kids and a welcomed change for us parents. She is a single mom in town and an active member of the Army Reserves.

We believe that to not fight for Alex to stay is a disservice to everyone in our Pine Glen community. We are asking you to please sign this petition and show the Burlington Public Schools Administration that Alex has the support of the parents in the community.
