The Issue
ULEZ must be scrapped after the revelation that Sadiq Khan’s ULEZ claims are flawed by Scientists at Imperial Environmental Research Groups. There is evidence of private emails held where scientists information was being silenced, see link below.
This is proof of one of the biggest Frauds ever, running into millions of pounds where Sadiq Khan has falsified information to justify a money making scheme to rob Londoners and surrounding areas out of their hard earned money just to balance TFLs books. This is a scam of epic proportion and deserves a full Metropolitan Police investigation and an Independent enquiry to investigate just how far this massive and audacious deception actually goes.
This is only going to happen by getting thousands of signatures requesting an investigation must happen to discover the truth, after all we are all part of this outrageous scam.

We need everyone’s help to share far and wide to maximise signatures, and bring to the attention of as many people as possible the corruption and lies that has come from Sadiq Khan our Mayor of London, and we want him to pay dearly for this horrendous scam, that has seriously affected thousands of people, including the disabled, poor families, small businesses and their livelihood, and the most vulnerable. People are already having to cope with inflation, but their lives are being completely ruined by this unjust tax being introduced by falsified information.
Sadiq Khan needs to know you cannot silence Scientists. They have said ULEZ up to the London North and South Circulars has had very little impact on clean air and polution, and the expansion of ULEZ to the whole of the London Boroughs will be even less so. However, the Mayor continues his narrative that air pollution kills, so is charging people £12.50 per day for non compliant cars (with a nox level of 0.08), this will earn TFL millions of pounds, but Scientists have researched and 100% categorically stated they stand by this having very little affect on clean air. In 2022 TFL made 224 million in charges/fines, so you can see this is a scam and deception of magnitude proportions.
Why tax Nox and not Tyres and Brakes? Back in 2020 Tests by Emissions Analytics, an engineering consulting company based in England, found that tires produce about 1,000 times more particle pollution by mass than exhaust tailpipes.
This includes tyres from electric cars which are far heavier because of their batteries. Public transport is the biggest polluter Buses are very heavy so will give off the most pollution, perhaps Khan should be taxing his own buses tyres and the brakes on his underground trains.
A scientific paper published by researchers from King's College London in 2019 found the air in London Underground is 18 times worse than the roadside air above ground, yet Sadiq Khan is so worried about air quality that he is doing nothing about that! Apparently, around 6.1 million metric tons of tire dust end up in our atmosphere and waterways annually. Although, not regulated, those emissions far exceed the legal particle limits for exhausts.
Also, brake dust contributes 20% of fine particulate matter pollution, compared to just 7% which is contributed by exhaust fumes. And as all cars have tyres and give off brake dust, there is no such thing as a truly zero-emission vehicle.
Tyre wear particles may contain a range of toxic chemicals including polyaromatic hydrocarbons, benzothiazoles, isoprene, and heavy metals like zinc and lead.
An imperial College London briefing paper in 2021 estimates that 52% of all small particle pollution from road transport comes from tyres and brakes, a further 24% from abrasion of roads and their paint markings. Just 15% of the emissions came from the exhausts of cars and a further 10% from the exhausts of vans and HGVs.

Sadiq Khans claim his ULEZ will save 4,000 deaths per year from pollution. Bearing in mind there is only 1 recorded death since 2001 where pollution has been cited on the death certificate as a “contributory” factor. But it is not, as Khan appeared to imply by juxtaposing the figure with a mention of Ulez, a figure attributable to pollution from road vehicles alone – it was for all human-created emissions of nitrogen dioxide and PM2.5s (particles measures less than 2.5 microns in diameter).
These come from many sources including boilers, log-burners, trains, construction/demolition, landfill sites and other things. Even where road vehicles are concerned, engines are not the whole story. Evidence from the Government's Air Quality Expert Group shows PM2.5 pollution from car engines is now dwarfed by emissions from tyre and brake wear, as well as from abrasion of the road surface.

People are angry over being exploited by a charge of £12.50 if you drive a non compliant car and a £180 fine if you don’t pay. TFL say they don’t have a database to tell you if you have gone into a ULEZ zone, the first you know whether you have or not is when you get £180 fine through your door, how can that be right? I belong to two anti ULEZ Facebook groups, one with over 40,000 members the other with nearly 17,000 members. To date over 10,000 people have signed to say they agree with me that Sadiq Khan has lied and implemented an unjust and unreasonable tax on Londoners and those outside of London who need to enter the ULEZ zone, I expect a lot more in time to do the same. This unjust tax affects the poorest people in society who can’t afford to buy a compliant car but still need it because they have to go to work, look after a sick relative, attend a funeral, take a loved one to hospital, take children to school, small businesses, etc link -
Sadiq Khans signage is unlawful as it doesn’t mention a charge, like the Congestion Charge or Dartford Tunnel Charge, it was thrown out in court link -
Government letter of 23.1.23 stating local authorities should not use any charging scheme as a revenue raising measure. There needs to be a zero balance sheet breakdown between fines and transport plan spending.
An example of TFL breaking the law. A Court has ruled TFL broke the law by issuing fines of £70 million through cctv for cars parked on red routes instead of using traffic wardens.
The utmost urgency for your signatures for this investigation is required as the expansion of ULEZ came into force on 29th August 2023.
