Tukaram Mundhe is a symbol of hope for honest governance in Maharashtra. At a time when citizens are losing faith in the system, officers like Mundhe restore that trust through sheer integrity, fearlessness, and action.

Throughout his career, he has taken on powerful interests—whether as Municipal Commissioner of Navi Mumbai and Pune, or as Collector of Solapur—delivering visible, citizen-first results and clean administration. Currently, as the head of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Maharashtra, he holds one of the most sensitive public health portfolios, directly impacting the safety of medicines, food, and drugs for millions.

A sudden transfer at this stage will:

· Disrupt critical regulatory actions and ongoing reforms at the FDA.
· Punish an officer whose only "crime" is refusing to compromise.
· Send a demoralizing message to every honest civil servant.

We, the citizens of Maharashtra, request the Hon'ble Chief Minister to  Retain Tukaram Mundhe at his current post in the FDA, Mumbai.
Let his work continue without political or bureaucratic interference. Protecting honest officers is the first step towards transparent governance.
