When our Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade and gave the rights to the states to decide whether or not it should be or would be legal for a woman to make decisions with her own body, it put our lives as women in the hands of strangers that don’t know us. They don’t know our medical or mental history. They do not know if we have children. They do not know if we chose to get pregnant or if it was forced on us. They do not know if we can carry that child and they do not know if we will survive to bring it into this world. But they don’t seem to care either. As citizens of the UNITED states of America it is our responsibility to make sure all women no matter what state they are in have the right to have body autonomy. It is our responsibility and our duty as citizens to have a voice for women that are unable to have a voice for themselves. We need to stand up together and make sure the Supreme Court does not get to continue chipping away at our rights as women.
