in August of 2026, I had been cleaning my parents house to surprise them, I had opened a door that had not been opened in over ten years to start cleaning it, when it shut it unfortunately did not latch all the way and my dog, who has never reacted this way before, ran out saw movement behind the trees, One chasing the other, they are both scared of people and when I got there they both freaked out, resulting in them biting my sixteen year old neighbor. It was a horrible event and thankfully I was right behind him so it all ended up quickly, we called the police and I stayed with him the entire time helping. thank god the record came out that no serious injuries were present and he was fine, that is all that matters. I pleaded to please ask if they need anything.

i was cooperative with the police and the police were grateful that they were licensed in the state of Michigan, up to date with vaccinations, has had no previous history,  and clearly cared for. I was crying for both the victim and mad crying at myself for not setting up my dogs for success. 

the officer investigated and took pictures of the door, along with my dogs. They put them through an in home quarantine of 10 days. This is where the story gets weird, I continually got harrassed and assaulted by the neighbors. They were threatening to shoot me, then threatening to shoot my dogs, shooting off guns where I was terrified and even calling my friends for advice. I did eventually call the police after one of them stalked me, jumped out from behind the tree, leaned over their fence and threatened to shoot me again. I could not go anywhere safe because I was in quarantine with the dog. I had been trying to give them as much privacy as possible so they did not have to see the dogs, but that did not stop them from wanting me gone. The police had to eventually tell them to stop, and tell them that I couldn’t go anywhere because the dogs were in an in home quarantine. When I told the officer that he’s threatening to shoot me he said “true….” But no action was taken.

I was so confused and saddened by this, I’ve had my dogs next to them for four years and they have been on this property their whole lives, they have seen them countless of times! We have had issues where their dog when it did attack ours and puncture one of mine, but to keep the peace I just knew I could treat it myself and I wouldn’t say anything. (However, this was after I took a picture of it and went to show them, because I was irritated, but they just drunkenly said the didn’t want to see it because I’m “a dumb bitch”- mothers words.

But besides that we have had no issues with the neighbor’s, and they are only there 5% of the time for vacation in the summer. My dogs have never bothered them, or even barked at them. They are trained off leash, one is my service dog trained to help me during seizures, who i brought to work with me before I fell too ill to work. and I started training them both right when I rescued both of them, for I am a dog trainer that trained and specialized in behavioral training. They know strict military commands and how to heel off leash. We go on walks in public all the time and my dogs are always around other people, even my mom who has early onset Alzheimer’s. They are extremely patient and loving with her. 

Then the matter gets ten times worse, my attorney told me that they told the police that they have been chased and threatened by them for years… what? This was all news to me and I was immediately angry, now realizing that they are trying to actually cause me harm and with malicious intent .  My dogs are never outside without me and are supervised 100% of the time. I go with them for potty I am outside when they’re playing. I would never let them behave in any kind of way and I would never let them. They live permanently in a neighborhood with no fences surrounded by lots of other dogs and people! So I was completely speechless.

However, THE STATE BELIEVED THEM DESPITE NOT HAVING ANY PROOF OR EVIDENDE AND AGREED THAT THEY SHOULD BE DESTROYED OCTOBER 28TH! I ALSO HAVE A FEELING THIS WAS JUST BECAUSE THEYRE GERMAN SHEPHERDS TOO!

my dogs are my life, both of them are rescues, thrown out and terribly abused. they are my children, I failed them as a dog mom and if anyone should be punished it should be me, and not my dogs

To make matters worse, on October 3rd one of them got diagnosed with stage four Lymphoma, please help us so i can focus on keeping my dogs strong especially for my one so he can continue to fight his cancer with treatment.
