Plaza Verde Parking Petition

Hello fellow anteaters, if you’re like me then you might just live in either PV1 or PV2. Now there’s a lot that can be said about possible  improvements to our respective buildings, but I want to focus on the parking structure. No, I don’t mean how there is not enough space for both PV1 and PV2, and no I’m not talking about how the elevator has been out for the better half of this quarter. I want to focus on something that can actually be done in a timely manner and without having to spend large sums of money (we all know the acc communities are a little stingy). I want speed bumps in the parking structure and a dividing line. How many times have you witnessed a car driving like they’re auditioning for fast and furious 99? How many times have you been on the cusp of an accident because people can’t seem to make turns in their respective “lane” and they have such a speed that it looks like their rushing to get petr stickers. Speed bumps are easy to apply, there are available on Amazon, and they would slow down these wannabe Lightning McQueens. When it comes to a halfway divider between the coming and going, all we need is paint. There is already construction occurring and I think that this could be done during the summer to inconvenience less people. It seems that a large portion of those using the PV parking structure leave common sense at the entrance which is why I believe that we need to implement safety measures before an accident occurs. I want to gauge how many people would be interested in signing a future petition demanding these changes. So please if you are tired of having a heart attack due to the recklessness of our peers every time you drive in the parking structure please comment. Thank you, and good luck on your finals.
